This 3-hour Intro to Pranayama workshop will offer a warm, welcoming space to explore the art of breath at a gentle and accessible pace. Whether you’re brand new to breath work or curious to deepen your understanding, you’ll be guided step by step through a range of practices designed to support anxiety relief, cultivate a greater sense of physical and emotional well-being, and guide us into deeper self-knowledge.

We’ll begin with simple, foundational techniques like sama vritti (equal breathing) and ujjayi, helping you build awareness and confidence in your breath. Then you’ll be gradually introduced to more nuanced practices—including nadi shodhana (alternate nostril breathing), kapalabhati, sheetali, and anuloma viloma—always with clear guidance and plenty of space to rest and integrate.

There’s no pressure to get anything “right.” This is an invitation to move at your own pace, listen inward, and discover how these practices feel in your own body. All levels of experience are truly welcome.

You’ll leave with a toolkit of practical techniques you can return to anytime—whether you’re seeking calm in stressful life moments, or building onto your daily spiritual exploration. Come with an empty stomach, and open mind and a notebook.
